Welcome to the oldest continually licensed hotel in Scotland. With parts of the building dating from the time of Mary Queen of Scots we offer spacious en suite bedrooms a cosy public bar with draught real ale and a sun trap beer garden to the rear of the building. TD8 6AG Directions: The Spread Eagle Hotel is a cream coloured building in the middle of the High Street in Jedburgh. The town is bypassed by the A68 which runs from Newcastle Upon Tyne in the south to the Edinburgh city bypass in the north. Turn off the A68 onto Exchange Street the second junction leading into the town centre from either direction .
